Winter Gala 2007

Scott and I attended Rimage's Second Annual Winter Gala on February 24, 2007. If you live in the Twin Cities area, you know that that night the metro area was in the middle of a snowstorm. We made it to the party, but getting home was an adventure. It took us about 20-30 mintues to get to the party and it took an hour to get home. We had to stop and scrape the windshield so that Scott could see where he was going.

The event was a success. Granted not everyone came and people left early because of the snow. The service was great, the food was delicious and the band rocked.

Scott and I were the first to dance at the party. Apparently we danced pretty well because no one joined us on the dance floor. When I got back to work on Monday, people called me the dancing queen. Thank you UMD's ballroom dancing class for teaching us how to dance together!

Our First Blog

Yes! We are joining the rest of the family with creating a blog!

Today, Scott and I were walking and we saw our first two robins! It was a beautiful day to be outside.

I told Scott that I was going to make a blog for the two of us over the weekend. He replied, "Good, you'll do all the posting." I love you, honey! You are so supportive!

Anyway, the biggest news is that my younger sister, Kathy is getting married this winter! That will be three weddings in three years for the Johnson girls. (Kylee in 2005, Keri in 2006 and Kathy in 2007)
